Elegant drop-shaped ceramic vase with a characteristic marbled pink and yellow glaze. The slender neck and rounded body give the piece a sculptural presence.

Bio:
Hans Hedberg was a Swedish ceramist and sculptor who spent most of his professional career in Biot, southern France. He is internationally renowned for his vibrant glazes and organic forms, especially his iconic fruit and botanical sculptures. Hedberg continuously experimented with glaze chemistry and firing techniques, giving his works a unique, vivid and almost painterly surface. Today, his pieces are highly sought after by collectors worldwide.
