Elegant conical stoneware bowl with a matte dark glaze in grey-brown tones and a subtle foot. A fine example of Stålhane’s minimalist design language and refined proportions. 2nd quality.

Origin: Sweden.
Designer: Carl-Harry Stålhane (1920–1990).
Material: Stoneware.
Dimensions: H. 7 cm, D. 14 cm.
Period: Mid-20th century.
Condition: Very good condition with minor signs of wear.

Bio:
Carl-Harry Stålhane was one of Sweden’s leading ceramic artists of the 20th century. Working for Rörstrand from 1939 and becoming artistic director in the 1950s, he developed a distinctive aesthetic that balanced sculptural simplicity with refined glaze work. His influence on Swedish stoneware and later generations of ceramicists remains profound.
